XRPL Timestamp is a cryptographic file notarization service that anchors tamper-proof existence proofs on the XRP Ledger. Users drop any file into the browser-based tool; a double-SHA256 commitment is computed entirely on the client, combined with a random nonce, and the resulting fingerprint is permanently recorded on-chain via an AccountSet transaction. The file itself is never transmitted to any server.
Once anchored, the timestamp is verifiable by anyone, on any public XRPL explorer, forever — independent of the continued existence of the XRPL Timestamp service itself. A printable proof certificate, containing the commitment hash, nonce, transaction ID, and a QR code linking to the on-chain record, can be generated at any time.
The service operates on the XRP Ledger mainnet and is accessible at xrpltimestamp.com.
